Q: Are the workshops best suited for primary, secondary or university educators?

A: All three. Since the core areas are easily integrated into any subject at any level, the workshop is appropriate for a pre-k-12 educator audience. Administrators, paraprofessionals, and parents also often participate in the workshops.

Q: Where are the workshops held?

A: We come to your school or organization’s chosen location, or in public meeting spaces.

Q: Are all workshops 6 hours in length?

A: Although the majority of our workshops are 6 hours, we also offer 2 and 3-hour formats. The 2-hour workshop is usually conducted as an after-school faculty meeting. The 3-hour workshop makes it possible to work with a morning group and a different group in the afternoon.

Q: Do you offer Continuing Professional Education (CPE) clock hours?

A: The Visual Teaching Alliance has been a Texas-based State Approved Provider since 2008.

Q: Do you offer workshops specific to certain educators?

A: Yes, we have custom workshops tailored to teachers of Gifted & Talented/Academically Advanced (TAGT approved), Early Childhood, ELL teachers Special Education and hands-on Technology workshops.

Q: Do you do workshops for students?

A: Yes, in fact, many Accelerated Learning Programs and Gifted & Talented Programs take advantage of our hands-on student workshops. It is also an opportunity for parent involvement.

Q: How do we schedule a workshop?

A: Call (512.567.7291) or email (VTAlliance@me.com) us with your requested date(s), time(s), location(s) and type of workshop(s). Based on availability, we will confirm your workshop and forward our consulting agreement.
